On Saturday April 4, we have an amazing event planned for all travel players in grades 5-8. Our annual 3v3 intrasquad tournament will again honor our long-time coach and friend Jamie Benincasa.
- All players arrive at GHS 3 at 12:45pm
- Tournament runs from 1-2pm
- Fast, quick-paced games with tennis balls
- Gender-specific teams
- No equipment, no checking!
- Boys, only short sticks are permitted
- This is part of the mandatory 5th - 8th travel curriculum
We would welcome parent volunteers to referee or chaperone our games.
Jamie Benincasa was a dedicated volunteer with Greenwich Youth Lacrosse and in our community. He was a spectacular coach who inspired girls and boys to not only excel on the field, but to carry the values of teamwork, discipline, and respect in all aspects of their lives. Jamie’s dedication and the way he mentored young athletes epitomized GYL’s commitment to making a difference in our athletes' lives.
