Updated information on 2026 GYL Travel Tryouts

March 3, 2026 Travel Tryouts On March 7 & 8 Travel tryouts continue this weekend - our second and final tryout sessions take place outdoors on March 7 & 8 at Brunswick School's Cosby Field. Check the weather and dress appropriately. We are outside on the turf! Click here for directions to 1252 King Street in Greenwich. Specific times are listed in the table below. Any additional changes will be sent via e-mail and posted on our web site. We strongly advise that you get there early: Parking is difficult. If this is your first session, your child will need to check in and pick up a pinnie, which they will use for all tryout sessions they attend. You do not have to check in if you have your pinnie - attendance will be taken on the field. Reminders: There will be a total of 3 tryouts. Attend as many tryouts as you can. It's about quality and not about quantity! See our Travel Tryout page for more. Players can opt out of all tryouts and will be placed on the lowest tier team. It's important that you let Sarah O'Connor (girls) or Pat Coleman (boys) know in advance if you can only attend one tryout. Teams will be announced on Sunday evening. You will receive an e-mail with your child's placement. Practice and game schedules are being finalized and they will be communicated by your child's coach following tryouts.
